*For all athletes new to CrossFit, the Elements Class is mandatory for the safety and overall productivity of those attending the CrossFIt classes.

  • CrossFit

Utilizing the CrossFit prescription of "constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity" our programming combines strength training with Metcons (metabolic conditioning).  Our CrossFit classes run an hour in length, and on any given day, you could be working on skills like pull up's, a back squat, or rowing on the erg mixed with some burpee's.  What is really great is that within these workout's, movements can be scaled down (or up!) for any level of fitness at any age, so they're challenging every time.  And because you never know what to expect with CrossFit, it promises an engaging, exciting experience every time you walk through the door.

  • HIIT (HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING)

HIIT is a training technique utilizing quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods.  This type of training gets, and keeps, your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.  HIIT increases the body's need for oxygen and creates an oxygen shortage, causing your body to ask or more oxygen during recovery.  This afterburn effect is referred to as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) and is the reason why intense exercise will help burn more fat and calories than regular aerobic and steady-state workouts.

  • Elements Classes (Intro)

Designed for those new to the CrossFit and barbell exerience, attendee's learn all the foundational movements of CrossFit, it's associated verbiage and movement patterns.  Elements builds a strong foundation to prepare you both mentally and physically for life long health and fitness.  Over the course of four classes, you will learn the skills that make up the primary components of CrossFit.  While integrating bodyweight movements, weightlifting techniques and gymnastics elements, we focus on proper movement patterns, form and fun.  The coaches will strategically add intensity to each class to prepare you for our CrossFit and HIIT classes.  No experience or prerequisites necessary!
